How to draw a garden gnome easily?

Step One: How to Draw a Garden Gnome - Let's Go!

In this blog we will create a classic representation of a garden gnome. We start with the outline of his head as well as the classic gnome pointy hat he wears.

1/ Start by drawing a rounded shape for his nose.

2/ Next, we will form the comically large glasses by drawing two large circles on the top of his nose.

3/ Next, use rounded lines to outline his face.

4/ Finally, finish this step by drawing his big hat on his head. It will be so big that the end will sag a little to the side.

Step two: Draw the details of his face as well as his beard.

1/ Start by drawing the eyes by forming small circles inside the garden gnome's glasses, then add even smaller circles inside for the pupils.

2/ Add some details like his eyebrows and some lines around his eyes.

3/ Finally, finish your dwarf's face by adding his mouth and ears. To conclude this second step, draw his bushy beard, located under his face.

Step three: Draw his chest and arms.

1/ Make curved lines for the long sleeves of his shirt, then add a small hand at the end of each sleeve.

3/ Finish the contours of your chest and waist.

Step four: Draw his legs.

1/ Draw his short legs with more curved lines and they will be so short that it will almost look like he doesn't have any.

2/ You can then finish this step by drawing his rounded shoes at the base of his legs.

Step Five: Finish your dwarf drawing by adding color.

There are many different colors you can choose to finish it.

You can use yellow, green and brown for his clothes, then red for his pointy hat. But you can also use other colors you like!
